Calculate the Cost of your System
The following calculator is only to provide a rough estimation of the cost for your solar electric (photovoltaic) system. Many factors that will decide your actual cost will be assumed for this estimate. Only a site evaluation and an individual system design plan will give you an actual cost.
To use this calculator, simply input the information into the following fields. To find your kilowatt hours used, look at you electric bill, on your bill will be a few numbers next to (Kwhrs). The offset, is how much (%) of your electricty you want your solar system to provide. Usually, this number depends on how much money you would like to save, even a small percentage will save you lots of money in time.
Remember, going solar is an investment that will eventually pay itself off again and again, for as long as the sun shines. Usually, solar systems will pay for themselves in 5-10 years.

Many factors can change this estimate including but not limited to the percentage of electricity you want your system to provide.
- The exact location of how your panels will be set.
- What angle will they be at?
- Will you choose to use some type of sun tracker?
- How much shading is at your site?
- How far away from your house will the panels be set up or will they be on your roof?
- Are you going to be connected to a utility company?
